Essential Functions & Responsibilities

10-Day Coordinator II As a 10-Day Coordinator II you will be responsible for maintaining compliance at the 10-Day while coordinating inbound and outbound trailers in a time and cost-effective manner.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Maintains responsibility of 10-Day operations including moving, loading and offloading of trucks while considering the needs of third-party sites, quantity of waste items being handled and load segments needed
  • Physically and electronically monitors the safe, compliant and cost-efficient movement of LTL shipments containing hazardous waste from 20+ Arcwood-controlled 10-Days or Service Centers; ensures transport shipments are offloaded and reloaded to designated Arcwood or non-Arcwood disposal facilities as approved by internal Compliance
  • Manages both inbound and outbound trailers at the 10-Day facility
  • Determines if the use of an Alternate Designated Facility is appropriate and allowable
  • Evaluates and determines the best outbound shipping approach from the following: Arcwood-owned assets, Transportation subcontractors or third-party vendor pickups
  • Utilizes the full functionality of barcode scanning system to track container movements, forecast workload and secure required resources
  • Monitors the Transportation yard and broader premise to ensure the direct shipment of 10-Day loads delivered after hours by third-parties or alternate Arcwood Service Centers are aligned with manifests, quotes and invoices
  • Prepares Continuation Page manifests for shipments utilizing more than two transporters
  • Maintains the integrity of all shipping documents, as well as ensure the shipment documents match
  • Enters load nonconformities into ISO and MMS systems to track customer and broker nonconformity history
  • Maintains an inventory of supplies and loads supplies onto outbound trucks for customer pick-ups; communicates nonconformities to Billing to support profitability
  • Ensures proper placarding and labeling of all containers and trucks at the 10-Day
  • Performs daily inspections and maintenance as well as distribution of the 10-Day tracking log
  • Maintains responsibility for ensuring compliance at the 10-Day facility
  • Supports Customer Experience representatives with customer phone calls, data entry, order entry, and maintaining updated customer files
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization


Education

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)


Experience

  • 3+ years of environmental experience (required)
  • DOJ/DEA Clearance (required)
