• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours per shift
• Comfortable working in a hot, dirty, and physically demanding manufacturing environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends as needed
• Ability to learn and operate multiple machines
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated steady work history preferred

The Job in Action

• Operate weld and wire spooling machines to produce and package welding wire
• Remove finished wire spools, bag, label, staple, and stack products onto skids
• Handle various spool sizes (10-60 lbs) with frequent heavy lifting and repetitive motion
• Monitor machine performance, including draw benches that form flat steel into tubular wire
• Add flux (powder lubricant) and maintain proper machine operation during production
• Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets specifications
• Repair wire breaks by butt welding and restarting machines as needed
• Cross-train on multiple machines to support the overall production flow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in a hot, industrial environment
