About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst / Senior Accountant to support core financial operations across multiple business units. This role sits at the center of finance-owning critical components of the month-end close process, ensuring financial accuracy, and delivering insights that drive business performance.

You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while partnering cross-functionally to solve complex issues, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do


Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and roll-forwards to support month-end close
  • Own and support close activities across designated accounting areas
  • Perform detailed general ledger analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Generate and distribute month-end reports and financial analyses


Financial Analysis & Operations

  • Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies across accounts
  • Input and manage financial data within ERP systems
  • Develop reporting to support consolidated financial results


Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and issue resolution
  • Support internal audit requests with documentation and analysis


Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Prepare regulatory reporting in line with deadlines and requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and finance initiatives


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting environment
  • Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Deep understanding of financial controls and accounting processes
  • Experience performing variance analysis and resolving discrepancies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Familiarity with IFRS
  • CPA certification
  • Audit experience
  • Background in beauty, CPG, or consumer products
