Treasury Management Support Specialist I

Description

This position is responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of all Treasury Management products, serving as a key contact person for business-related customer requests, technical product training, problem resolution and ongoing customer service.

Essential Functions:



  • Provide in-depth technical and operational support for customers both internal and external related to treasury management.
  • Assess customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Respond timely to calls and written requests received through various channels.
  • Research non-routine and complex systems or customer problems and communicate findings and resolution to the appropriate parties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, branch staff and other bank partners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both internal and external.
  • Assure requests are met within SLA's, escalate as necessary.
  • Keep up to date with current fraud scams and prevention techniques.
  • May serve as back up for routine duties of the Department Manager or other members of the team.
  • Perform compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned.
  • Refer sales opportunities as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions and apply to designated job responsibilities-knowledge can be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
  • Must follow Washington Trust Bank's policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete all required annual training.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information as deemed in Washington Trust Bank policy.


Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge of departments within the bank and their functions.
  • High degree of PC based technical skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Basic knowledge of web browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
  • High proficiency in troubleshooting PC, treasury management products and system application issues independently with timely resolution.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical people, articulating complex technical ideas into layman's terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with varying levels of the organization and present a positive, professional image of the department.
  • Strong time management skills demonstrated through the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve problems under minimal supervision.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Compensation:

Treasury Management Support Specialist I: $22.50 to $33.76 per hour

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
