Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health System Director, Supply Chain Logistics - Faculty Group Practice (FGP).

In this role, the successful candidate as theFGP Director of Logistics will oversee and optimize the supply chain operations for the faculty group practices across the health system, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and capital. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, standardizing across all FGP regions and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to streamline procurement, inventory management, and logistics across all non-acute facilities.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to align supply chain operations with organizational goals and patient care needs.
  • Oversee the onboarding and integration of new facilities into the existing supply chain network.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, cost savings, and contract compliance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely delivery of supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to supply chain operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency and user experience.
  • Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
8-10+ years of experience in supply chain management, ideally within the healthcare or non-acute industry.
5+ years of leadership experience overseeing teams, operations, or projects in supply chain logistics.
Strong knowledge of non-acute care settings (e.g., outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities).
Proficiency in supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred.
Familiarity with group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and formulary management.
Experience in implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
