SENIOR ADVANCED BUYER - CONNECTION SYSTEMS

SOUTHFIELD, MI - WORLD HEADQUARTERS


Position Overview

The Advanced Buyer - Connection Systems is responsible for RFQ process and Post Award support of projects during all the life cycle with the project focus, including cost optimizations and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct RFQs, negotiations, and secure competitive pricing and long-term agreements.


-Maintaincontrol of the Awarded businessand key milestones.


- Coordinatedifferentcommoditiesand functions during the project.


- Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance, operations, quality,salesand other departments.


- Ensure supplier readiness fordifferent phasesof the project.


- Lead cost-saving initiatives includingCTOand alternativesourcing.


- Support global sourcing strategies.


- Support and Maintenance Lear ERP systems (Cost studies, Change requests)


- Support the team with new commodities development.


Qualifications:


-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field;


- Experience in purchasing/procurement within automotive sector2-5 yearspreferred;


- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communicationskills;


- Spanish and/or otheradditionallanguage might be an advantage.


-Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and CRM user experience;
