Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Provides education and emotional support to patients and families and helps guide them through the healthcare system. Serves as a single point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance with accessing supportive care services within BCH and in the community. Serves as a subject matter expert to Patient Navigators, Interns, Social Workers, and others on clinic and specialized services. Manages annual and ongoing projects such as clothing drives, Cradles to Crayons, and summer camps. May run workshops on topics such as housing and food insecurity. May help facilitate and assist with clinic-based groups requiring particular services. Key Responsibilities:
Education: High School diploma/GED is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Experience: A minimum of two years of experience including direct experience with the patient population and community resources is required. The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
