OVERVIEW: The Utility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating utility phases during pre-construction and construction activities. The role requires a proactive communication approach and excellent relationships with utility owners in the west-central Florida region. With supervision and guidance from the Senior and Chief Utility Coordinators, the Utility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating utility phases during design and/or construction phase activities. Manage the coordination, documentation and relocation of utilities such as water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecom facilities associated with public works, transportation, and private development projects. The role ensures that utility conflicts are identified early, resolved efficiently, and documented in compliance with state and local regulations. DURING YOUR WORK DAY, YOU WILL:
