If so, The Pfister is looking for a Cocktail Server to join our Lobby Lounge team and continue its legacy of elevated hospitality. As a Lobby Lounge Cocktail Server at The Pfister Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering timely, professional, and personable service to ensure every guest enjoys an elevated and memorable lounge experience.

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. What you will be doing:

• Greet guests with warmth, explain specials and promotions, and assist with recommendations of beverages and food options.

• Take accurate orders, input them into the POS system, and coordinate with bartenders to ensure timely service.

• Serve beverages with appropriate garnishes and snacks while maintaining accuracy and presentation standards.

• Check back with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and anticipate their needs.

• Present checks promptly, handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, and properly balance self-banked funds.

• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, tables, chairs, and lounge areas throughout the shift.

• Restock and organize supplies including glassware, napkins, straws, and condiments.

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently.

• Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws and regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.

• Support team members and bartenders to ensure seamless lounge operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the lounge and hotel.

Position Requirements:

1 year of cocktail serving experience required in a high-volume lounge or bar.

Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine with the ability to describe and recommend selections.

Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining engaging service.

Strong cash handling and self-banking skills, with the ability to balance funds accurately.

Ability to carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs. and navigate through a crowded lounge.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

TIPS certification preferred; bartending certification a plus.

Must adhere to the Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.

Job Type: Hourly | Part-Time (Union)

Pay/Salary Estimate: $7.47/hr.
