Why This Role Matters

In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping the credit union's facilities safe, functional, and professional for both employees and members. You'll oversee maintenance, vendor services, and construction projects to help minimize disruptions and keep everything running smoothly. Regular inspections, proactive upkeep, and responding to maintenance issues will ensure our equipment and properties stay in top condition. You'll also track projects and assist with deliveries to support overall efficiency. Your strong organization and attention to detail will have a direct impact, creating a seamless experience for both staff and members.



What You'll Do

Facility Maintenance & Appearance



  • Performs hands-on maintenance including demolition, drywall installation/repair, flooring, trim, cabinetry, basic plumbing/electrical work, door repair and painting
  • Oversees independent contractors, and ensures property upkeep, including snow and ice removal.


Construction & Renovation Projects



  • Manages projects from planning to completion, coordinating with departments, contractors, and senior management.
  • Reads and follows blueprints, layouts, and work orders.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots structural and cosmetic issues during renovations.
  • Prepares job sites, including material staging and cleanup.


Property Inspections & Vendor Oversight



  • Conducts quarterly property inspections, generates reports, and schedules/performs repairs from those reports.
  • Ensures vendor compliance with preventative maintenance and service agreements by assisting contractors while they are onsite.


Equipment & Service Requests



  • Handles maintenance requests, coordinates with vendors, and ensures equipment remains operational.
  • Operates hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment safely and effectively.
  • Supervises all vendor PM's (Preventative Maintenance) and ensures that all aspects of the PM are completed.


Emergency Response



  • Be available periodically for on-call duty. In the event of an emergency maintenance situation, you may be asked to assist or respond as needed.


Project & Task Management



  • Utilizes Smartsheet to track projects, maintenance requests, and contractor schedules.
  • Coordinates with senior management and branch managers to minimize member disruption during projects


Courier & Delivery Support



  • Assists with deliveries and transfers between credit union locations.

Qualifications

Who You Are

Experience & Education



  • At least 1-3 years of similar or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Kentucky driver's license, and ability to travel to and from branch locations and other destinations to pick up and deliver supplies and other equipment.
