Location:This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm in a typical office environment. This role is located on-site at 4101 Percival Rd. Columbia, SC 29229. After successfully completing 90 days of training, this position may transition to a hybrid work schedule based on performance and business needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Research claims history to identify claims to be adjusted for refunds. Update claims systems to ensure that the refund process will be completed. Adjust claims history to reflect refunded amounts.

  • Process transactions to post purged claims and special checks.

  • Respond accurately and timely to inquiries from internal and external customers.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:

  • Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Required Work Experience:1 year of claims processing experience.

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • General knowledge of related processing support systems.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Required Software and Other Tools:Microsoft Office.

  • Preferred Work Experience:1 year of refund experience.
