Metronome supports all Rancher products exclusively with U.S.-based citizens who hold the highest levels of security clearance, currently supporting programs across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and federal agencies. Metronome is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support Fort Meade, MD. This individual will serve as a strategic technical force within the cleared community-delivering expert-level implementation, architecture, and enablement focused on a portfolio of container and Kubernetes technologies. The Senior DevOps Engineer will work directly with government clients to translate mission requirements into secure, scalable production environments. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture Serve as a trusted technical lead and hands-on engineer for government agency customers, building, deploying, and maintaining Rancher-based Kubernetes and containerized solutions. Deliver advanced DevOps engineering support, architecture design, and troubleshooting across the full Rancher product suite and supporting open-source tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Prometheus, CI/CD technologies). Develop proofs-of-concept, reference architectures, and custom technical solutions that meet complex government security and performance requirements.
