Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Manager for the Futures division of our Safeguards & Security directorate. This position would support a team that works site-wide. This Manager is responsible for leading two critical areas that ensure the protection of assets at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). This role provides strategic direction, oversees daily operations, ensures protection of assets, and guides teams across multiple INL facilities. This position will work on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Key Responsibilities Physical Security Program Oversight -Partner with facility operations and special project leadership to integrate security requirements into planning and execution, ensuring alignment with strategic safeguards and security objectives. - Lead and supervise individuals responsible for conducting detailed vulnerability and risk analysis of security systems, facilities, protective force, critical assets, and special projects. Strategic Leadership & Integration - Provide unified leadership to ensure consistent implementation of security strategies and evolving threat/technology needs. Supervisory Responsibilities - Direct and develop a multidisciplinary team of analysts and technical specialists. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience with 5 years of proven leadership experience OR a HS Diploma and 15 years of experience including 5 years of leadership. DOE Q clearance required (or the ability to obtain and maintain) which requires US Citizenship. The target pay range for this position is ($158,712- $237,174) annually. The full pay range is ($107,844 - $274,980). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials. TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment. While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires operation of job-related equipment and driving a vehicle. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with people is required.
