Position Overview:
- Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute the DevOps vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals. Partner with engineering, product, and security teams to align priorities and ensure operational excellence.
- Infrastructure & Automation: Own the design, deployment, and scaling of cloud infrastructure (Azure). Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure releases. Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) practices.
- Reliability & Observability: Establish SRE best practices to drive uptime, system resilience, and performance. Create and maintain metrics and reporting performance dashboards, logs, and monitoring alerts to proactively identify and address issues related to system reliability, scalability, and security. Enable blameless post mortems (PIRs) with a focus on root cause and continuous improvement.
- Security & Compliance: Partner with Security to ensure DevSecOps practices are integrated into the SDLC. Support SOC 2, ISO, GDPR, and other compliance initiatives through secure infrastructure practices.
- Cost & Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud usage and resources to optimize infrastructure costs without compromising performance or reliability. Regularly review and optimize resource usage across environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Lead with experience creating DevOps from the ground up.
- Experience using AI Dev Ops tools to enhance efficiency, improve collaboration, and ensure higher quality in software delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure (PaaS, IaaS), Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines), Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Container Service (ACS), Docker, Terraform, YAML, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Git/GitHub, Github Actions, DataDog, Junit, Playwright and CodeCov.
- Strong understanding of DevOps architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
