Texas Oncology is looking for a Remote Oncology Informatics Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Precision Medicine team! This is position is based out of the corporate office in Dallas, Texas. What does the Oncology Informatics RN do? The Oncology Informaticist RN will be responsible for the translation and documentation of non-structured information into structured data, such as reviewing clinical information in a non-structured, textual/pdf format and transcribing that information into structured data fields. This person will also assist in transcribing precision medicine tests ordered by the physician, receipt, and placement of the results into the EMR, as necessary. This person will collaborate with data scientists within the Precision Medicine Team and clinicians within Texas Oncology and US Oncology Research to identify patients who may be eligible for enrollment in clinical trials.
