Key Duties:




  • Performs in-depth analysis on title options, warranty deeds, oil lease assignments, conveyances, affidavit of heirship and probate documents, followed by preparing and issuing division orders
  • Set up ownership decks
  • Prepare initial division order from title opinion or paysheet
  • Assures compliance with various state statutes and company guidelines concerning royalty disbursements
  • Process pay code updates and owner address changes
  • Tracks and manages suspense records, conducting follow up research and sending search letters to locate owners
  • Issues due diligence letters for unclaimed property reporting requirements
  • Work with revenue accounting to maintain and reduce suspense and escheat
  • Maintain ownership in a well for the life of that well
  • Prepare and mail Division Orders
  • Respond to owner and operator communications and answer questions in a timely manner



Required Skills, Experience, and Education:




  • High School Diploma



  • Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business, preferred



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel



  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-based environment



  • Must possess strong mathematics, organizational and communication skills



  • Self-starter, motivated, energetic and passionate about work



  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
