Patient Access Representative (Main Admitting) Tarzana, CA \| Fully Onsite We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to support the Main Admitting department. This is a great opportunity for someone with healthcare administrative experience who is flexible with scheduling and interested in growing their career within a respected healthcare system. Schedule & Availability * Open availability required (5 days/week) * Rotating weekends (every other weekend) * Shifts include: * Graveyard: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM * Swing: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Position Details * Starts as a 4month openended contract * Strong performance may lead to extensions * After 6 months, you are eligible to apply internally to any Providence position What You'll Be Doing * Support patient intake and registration * Perform insurance verification for various payors * Assist with patient transport to departments as needed * Enter and maintain accurate patient data in the system * Provide friendly, professional frontdesk support in a fastpaced hospital environment What We're Looking For * 1-2 years of healthcare administrative experience, such as: * Front desk * Patient intake/registration * Admitting or access services * Experience with insurance verification, including: * HMO / PPO * MediCal / Medicaid * Medicare * TriCare * Epic experience is highly preferred * Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and customer service mindset * Comfortable working onsite and during evening/overnight hours Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
