Role: VP, Professional Services PMO

Location: US Remote

Synonymous Business Title (s): VP, PMO

Overview:

As the Vice President of the Professional Services PMO (Governance and Delivery) at Blue Yonder, you will play a key role in strengthening how we deliver across our global services organization. This role is focused on establishing the frameworks, standards, and operating discipline that enable our project and program managers to plan effectively, manage risk proactively, and execute with consistency at scale.

This role requires experience operating in large, complex enterprise environments, including leading delivery transformation in support of a unified business platform strategy. The ideal candidate brings a track record of enabling end-to-end delivery across platform-based solutions, where standardization, scalability, and cross-functional alignment are critical to success. Experience working at the scale of a global SaaS organization, managing high-volume, multi-region delivery portfolios, is essential.

Leveraging your experience in application delivery methodologies, you will help advance our delivery approach toward a more outcome-oriented model, ensuring how we plan and execute work is aligned to customer value and business impact. Leading a global PMO team, you will partner closely with Professional Services leadership to strengthen governance, improve delivery performance, and build the capabilities that enable our teams to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing/Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Governance & Enablement:

  • Define and scale delivery standards, including planning rigor, stage gates, and risk management practices, to drive consistent execution
  • Implement project management frameworks, tools and standards to enhance project visibility, accountability, and execution discipline across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive adoption of delivery processes and tools, improving data quality, work plan integrity, and execution transparency across teams

Project Portfolio Management:

  • Provide visibility into portfolio performance, including delivery health, financial outcomes, and emerging risks
  • Improve forecast accuracy through stronger planning discipline and alignment between execution and financial expectations
  • Partner with Finance and Services Operations to improve revenue realization and overall portfolio performance

Operating Model & Continuous Improvement:

  • Support the evolution toward a platform-based delivery model, ensuring delivery frameworks, estimation approaches, and execution practices are aligned to scalable, repeatable platform implementations rather than bespoke deployment
  • Establish a consistent operating cadence for portfolio reviews, risk management, and performance tracking
  • Standardize delivery practices across teams to improve consistency, scalability, and predictability
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve alignment between scoping, planning, and execution

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure clear alignment on business objectives, scope, and expected outcomes.
  • Provide transparent, executive-level insights into delivery health, risks, and value realization.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing PMO team, and assist in mentoring PMs in Professional Services.
  • Build program management capability across the organization, reinforcing consistent practices and expectations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the PMO.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • PMP or PgMP certification required.
  • 15+ years of experience in Professional Services, Program Management, or Consulting/Services Transformation leadership.
  • Proven track record leading large, complex, global customer delivery programs in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment, including operating within highly matrixed organizations and managing delivery across multi-region, multi-product, and platform-based solution landscapes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a Professional Services PMO, driving governance, execution excellence, and customer outcomes.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models and enterprise implementation complexity
  • Executivelevel leadership, communication, and stakeholder influence.
  • Ability to influence across highly matrixed organizations, aligning diverse stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Delivery to drive enterprise-wide outcomes
  • Comfort operating in environments with high levels of ambiguity, scale, and transformation complexity
  • Balanced strategic and execution-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on delivery performance and risk management
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, global Professional Services environment.
