Additional Information: This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. This position will require at least 10% travel. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.
Act as primary administrator of Protective & Marine Division (PMD) warranty programs, providing timely and consistent warranties to the Sales team while minimizing company risk
- Maintain and improve warranty templates
- Draft sample and final warranties, seeking support from Product Management and Sherwin-Williams legal team as needed
- Act as primary contact for PMD Sales team
- Manage workflow in Sirion and troubleshoot system issues
- Lead process improvement projects related to warranty processing
Recommend and implement process improvements
- Act as primary administrator of the PMD rebate program providing timely and accurate reporting and disbursements to customers while optimizing internal accruals
- Work with Sales, PMD Finance & National Accounts to properly accrue for rebates throughout the year, making quarterly adjustments as necessary
- Create and run rebate reports, reconciling calculations with PMD Finance and National Accounts before disbursement
- Consult with Sales team as needed to define intent of rebate and update instructions
Track check requests including follow-ups, through approval cycle and verify delivery of checks
Complete PMD vendor registration requests to achieve Qualified Vendor status for Sherwin-Williams with our customers
- Log and distribute requests to PMD support personnel, and review final forms before distributing to customers and/or Sales team
- Maintain and update resource charts and frequently asked questions database
- Request and distribute Certificates of Insurance as requested by customers, maintaining database for annual distribution
- Request and distribute Preferred Business Partner Program cards as requested by customers, maintaining database for annual distribution
Recommend and implement process improvements
Align National Account customers in database for rebate, reporting and discount programs
- Manage parent/child relationships via National Accounts tracking methods
- Chart and communicate parent structures to Sales & Marketing teams
Assist Sales & Marketing with Account Executive set up, account maintenance, source databases posts, and communications to customers

- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and assist to create presentations as it relates to customer purchases, program trends, and product sales analysis
- Train Sales and Marketing teams on new systems, methods and procedures falling under the accountability of the Marketing - Sales Ops Specialist
- Comfortable working both independently as well as collaboratively within teams
- Effective communication, time management and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to develop value-added analysis for the business
- Excellent PC skills, including Microstrategy report building, a strong understanding of database concepts, and Microsoft Office tools - with emphasis on Excel
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.).
- Must have a bachelors degree or higher.
- Must have one (1) year relevant business experience; preferably in Sales, Finance, Credit, Accounting, or an Analytical role
- Must be able to travel 10%.
