Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors Process Engineer - Marietta, PA What You'll Be Doing
- Lead medium to large-scale projects focused on:
- Cost reduction
- New product development
- Process improvement
- Act as an "owner of the business" by identifying opportunities and driving critical manufacturing improvements
- Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor to troubleshoot issues and improve performance
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve plant performance objectives
- Conduct and support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to resolve process and material-related issues
- Apply process improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Monitor and audit key process control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach and train production operators on:
- Process control techniques
- Equipment capabilities
- Best practices
- Support plant safety initiatives through participation in safety audits and risk assessments
- Develop and revise raw material specifications to meet customer and operational requirements

What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in the ceiling tile, paper, or similar manufacturing industry
- Experience with wastewater treatment systems and environmental processes
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Functional expertise in board formation or manufacturing materials processes
- Strong experience applying statistical tools (Minitab, DOE, SPC) in real-world manufacturing settings
- Demonstrated success leading impactful process improvement initiatives with measurable results
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Experience in process engineering or a technical role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and execute projects across all phases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab (preferred)
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
- Ability to work off-shift hours as needed to support plant initiatives
