Learn more at www.dminc.com About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to leads the design and engineering of complex IT systems for TSA, spanning server infrastructure, enterprise applications, development/test/production environments, and integration with cloud platforms. Duties and Responsibilities: This individual is responsible for producing solution architectures that are secure, scalable, and aligned with DHS and TSA technical standards, and for guiding those architectures through the full engineering lifecycle from design through implementation and transition to O&M. The role requires the ability to manage multiple concurrent engineering efforts and to deliver technical leadership across project teams. Key responsibilities include developing system designs and architecture artifacts, leading integration testing and lab validation, and producing cutover runbooks and transition packages that enable the O&M contractor to sustain delivered solutions. The Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect coordinates directly with TSA stakeholders, third-party technology vendors, and the O&M contractor throughout project execution, ensuring engineering quality, schedule adherence, and operational readiness. This individual also provides input to the Resource-Loaded Integrated Master Schedule and supports after-hours deployments as required by TSA's 24x7x365 environment. Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: A minimum of 6 years of hands-on systems engineering experience is required, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture, systems integration, and lifecycle engineering across on-premises and cloud environments. Familiarity with DHS security architecture requirements, ICAM standards, and FISMA compliance is expected. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents, clearable through TSA's background investigation process, and able to support the after-hours implementation windows that govern TSA's change management cadence.
