As an Account Director, you will be a senior client and contract leader responsible for the successful management, execution, and growth of a portfolio of population health and quality measurement programs for Telligen, including large and complex Medicaid-focused initiatives. This role provides both account management leadership and executional oversight across multiple programs, serving as a primary executive liaison for clients while ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance, and financial performance.

You will also play a key role in driving portfolio growth, helping to identify and pursue expansion opportunities, support new business development, and strengthen Telligen's strategic position with existing and prospective clients.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must live in Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Washington, DC to be eligible. Periodic travel to client locations is expected.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide senior-level account management and executional oversight for a portfolio of population health and quality measurement programs, including Medicaid quality initiatives
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex Medicaid quality measurement and population health programs, including HEDIS, CMS Core Sets, and value-based payment initiatives
  • Oversee multi-scope, data-intensive contracts encompassing measure development, calculation, reporting, and performance analytics
  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of healthcare data environments, including claims and clinical data integration, data validation, and quality measurement systems
  • Partner with technology and analytics teams to ensure effective use and performance of data platforms, reporting tools, and client-facing portals
  • Serve as the primary senior-level client lead, building credibility and trusted relationships with state agency stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Translate complex technical, quality, and performance information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including direct management of manager-level staff and oversight of large, matrixed teams
  • Set strategic direction for assigned accounts, balancing hands-on program knowledge with executive-level planning and long-term roadmap development
  • Identify risks and opportunities within programs and proactively drive solutions that improve outcomes, client satisfaction, and contract performance
  • Support portfolio growth by identifying expansion opportunities, contributing to proposals and RFP responses, and strengthening existing client relationships

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex healthcare programs, preferably supporting Medicaid and/or Medicare quality measurement and population health initiatives (e.g., HEDIS, CMS Core Sets, value-based payment programs)
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery of multi-scope, data-intensive contracts, including quality measure development, calculation, reporting, and performance analytics
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data ecosystems, including claims, clinical data integration, data validation, and performance measurement systems
  • Experience overseeing healthcare IT and data platforms, including data warehousing, reporting portals, and payer-facing systems
  • Established success in client relationship management, with the ability to build credibility and trust with state agency stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams, including direct management of manager-level staff and oversight of larger, matrixed teams (15+ individuals)
  • Ability to quickly develop domain credibility in complex programs and lead teams with deep subject matter expertise
  • Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to transition from hands-on program immersion to executive-level oversight and long-term planning
  • Proven track record of supporting business development and portfolio growth, including identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and expanding existing client relationships
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex technical, quality measurement, and population health concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders

The salary for this role will be determined based on a combination of factors, including:

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): depth and relevance of experience in Medicaid programs, quality measurement, data analytics, account leadership, and program management
