As a Safety Manager - Mission Critical you are a fieldbased leaders responsible for daytoday safety planning and execution. You'll lead project teams in pretask planning, monitor jobsite safety conditions, and consult, coach, or direct improvements as needed. You will ensure a strong safety culture across assigned projects through close coordination with selfperform and subcontracted teams and compliance with governing and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate Findorff's safety processes with owner and/or controlling GC safety requirements and provide safety support across projects, including coordination with OSHA and safety consultants
  • Develop and implement projectspecific safety planning, permitting, and reporting, including the Site Specific Safety & Health Manual, Methods of Procedure, Job Hazard Analyses, and other safety initiatives
  • Inspect jobsites to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, equipment issues, and safety compliance; document observations and issue reports
  • Direct and coordinate health and safety activities on assigned projects, including signage, equipment, and weekly toolbox talks
  • Participate in prejob, pretask, preinstallation, foremen, and subcontractor coordination meetings as needed
  • Assist with incident investigations, workrelated injuries, first aid/CPR response, drug screening, and returntowork and claims processes
  • Support commissioning, testing readiness, and overall site safety compliance across assigned projects
  • Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to safety staff, supervisors, interns, and peers while supporting team development
  • Participate in corporate safety and training programs, crisis management support, OSHA training delivery, and newhire safety orientations



Qualifications:



  • Proven leadership with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in fastpaced environments
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and structured thinking abilities
  • Effective motivator with experience mentoring, coaching, and developing teams
  • Skilled in assessing staff capabilities and delivering targeted training and presentations
  • Technically proficient and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on safety and compliance



Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in a safety-related field; or equivalent combination of education, training or experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in commercial construction required
  • 5+ years of safety experience in commercial construction preferred
