The Inventory Control and Constrained Product Analyst will assist and support the Inventory Control Manager and Ops Teams in the review, tracking, action, etc. of constrained products impacting health system operations. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing and controlling inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, perpetual and par order management and optimizing inventory management processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Essential Job Statements Constrained Item Action Team Facilitate meetings, update tracker and approved sub list. Work closely with Procurement Resource to source alternative vendors or alternatives sub products. Review perpetual inventory 0 DIOH report and work with Inventory Control Manager to shift product across the system or bring forward during the Team meeting. Find opportunities to standardize across perpetual and par locations as a part of the response to product disruption resolution. Physical Inventory Assist Inventory Control Manager in scheduling end of year perpetual counts. Ensure counts are completed and assist in the review and preparation of final value reports. Predict future inventory needs based and investigate and rectify inventory discrepancies. Identify and implement improvements to inventory control procedures. Partner with designated Procurement Resources to review open SC Operations Purchase Order lines. Source, purchase as directed by Inventory Control Manager. Track on appropriate trackers for review by the Constrained Item Review and Action Team. Assist the Inventory Control Manager with assessment of impact across the system. Manage correspondence with Ops Team about open purchase order lines. Assist with the research when a SC Ops managed product is discontinued - update the discontinued item tracker with appropriate information. Distributor LUM Program Forecast Mgmt. Work closely with Ops, Data Mgmt. and Distributor to ensure that LUM forecast is accurate and supports usage. Recommend other methods of replenishment if LUM can't be supported. Manage the auto-sub functionality in Supply Chain ERP system - work with Data Mgmt. to have items built in ERP and added to the appropriate item in the ERP item catalog to allow for auto-sub functionality to be utilized. Manage the Recall and Alert Teams site - ensure that Recalls are responded to quickly and appropriately. Ensures Alerts are communicated to appropriate parties. Conversion Management Facilitate the weekly Ops/Distribution/VA Conversion planning call. Complete pre-meeting work with Distributor, ensure tracker is updated in a timely manner COI Program Management Oversee any current item inventory managed through the COI (Customer Owned Inventory Program) with our distributor partner. Update ERP for auto-sub of this stock, turning off and on as appropriate Support the Inventory Manager with Joint Commission Inspection Readiness Supports regulatory readiness by helping to maintain a survey-ready environment, ensuring documentation is up to date, and assisting with proper stock rotation. Assists during inspections by helping to locate supplies quickly, supporting the explanation of compliance measures, and backing up inventory procedures for surveyors as needed Patient Population: N/A Employment Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Operations/Logistics, or additional relevant experience in lieu of degree Preferred Education:N/A Licensing/ Certification Licensure/Certification Required:N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred:N/A Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience: Required: 3+ years related Healthcare, Materials Management or Supply Chain experience required Preferred Experience: 5+ years related Healthcare, Materials Management or Supply Chain experience required Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Able to gather, synthesize, summarize, and analyze information. Able to complex problems requiring the use of analytical, interpersonal, or technical principles and in depth cross functional knowledge. Possess interpersonal skills to deal with conflicting views and issues and mediate fair solutions. Able to establish and maintain a professional working relationship. Advanced computer knowledge including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working Conditions: Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.General office environment.
