Title: Instructional Designer Reportsto: Head of Learning & Development Department/Location:Remote FLSA Status:Exempt Summary: Guidelight is seeking an Instructional Designer who can translate complex clinical, operational, and compliance content into high-quality, effective learning experiences that drive real behavior change and on-the-job performance.This individual must be able to take raw or unstructured input from subject matter experts and transform it into well-designed eLearning and job aids that are clear, actionable, and aligned to how employees actually perform in their roles. A critical component of this role is designing with intention, ensuring content supports skill adoption, reinforces decision-making, and leads to measurable improvements in performance. This role requires a strong foundation in instructional design best practices and the ability to independently apply learning science to create meaningful, engaging training, not just assemble content. While L&D leadership will provide guidance on strategy and priorities, this individual will work independently to execute on instructional design fundamentals and consistently produce high-quality learning experiences that meet organizational standards. Additionally, the Instructional Designer will be a cross-collaborator, working closely with senior leadership and functional stakeholders, requiring strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills. They must be able to navigate feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and guide stakeholders toward effective learning solutions.In addition to design responsibilities, this role includes maintaining content within the LMS (Docebo), ensuring learning is properly structured, assigned, and accessible to learners.
