Job Title: Accounting Specialist (FullCycle Accounting) Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly detailoriented Accounting Specialist to serve as a key accounting resource within our office. This role will be the primary point of contact for invoicing and accountingrelated inquiries, while also supporting broader fullcycle accounting functions. The ideal candidate is confident in core accounting principles, comfortable working in a paperless environment, and able to collaborate effectively across teams to bring structure, accuracy, and problemsolving expertise to our finance processes. This position offers the opportunity to grow beyond daytoday invoicing into more comprehensive accounting responsibilities and to help shape processes in a dynamic, collaborative office environment. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the primary owner of customer invoicing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting principles * Monitor and manage highvolume finance and Accounts Payable inboxes, responding to requests related to invoices, sales tax questions, documentation, and issue resolution * Review invoices carefully, identify discrepancies, and confidently question or resolve items that do not appear accurate * Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding accounts payable inquiries and invoice processing * Utilize Microsoft Dynamics and internal agency systems for invoicing, quoting, inventory tracking, and financial documentation * Maintain organized financial records within SharePoint, ensuring proper filing and accessibility of shared job documentation * Collaborate with the broader accounting team (including external office support) on accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities * Apply fundamental accounting principles such as revenue recognition and matching, and proactively research and resolve accounting issues * Build strong working relationships across the office by communicating clearly, assertively, and professionally * Contribute to the ongoing development of accounting structure, processes, and best practices Required Qualifications * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting * 10+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated fullcycle accounting exposure * Strong understanding of accounting and finance functions, including: * Accounts Payable * Accounts Receivable * General Ledger * Payroll support * GAAP accounting principles * Proven experience serving as a trusted accounting resource or primary point of contact * High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint * Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively while tactfully pushing for necessary information Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (including Dynamics/Navision) * Background working in a paperless or systemsdriven accounting environment Experience Level Intermediate to Senior level (handson, experienced professional) Why This Role * Opportunity to grow into expanded accounting responsibilities beyond invoicing * High level of ownership and visibility within the office * Collaborative environment where your expertise helps bring structure and clarity * Longterm growth potential for someone who wants to be a goto accounting professional Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Centennial, CO.
