Job Summary:

The Palliative Care Education Programs include three pathways, including the Interprofessional Palliative Care Graduate Certificate (IPCC), Master of Science in Palliative Care (MSPC), and the Community Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship (CHPM).

The Student Affairs and Recruitment Program Manager will lead the daily operational activities of all three Palliative Care Education Programs. This role will employ skills in student affairs administration across the lifecycle as they lead the administrative process for admissions, recruiting, marketing, communications, advising and supporting current students, and managing students' program progression and alumni relations. The Program Manager will utilize instructional technology (Canvas), student information systems (CU-SIS), CRMs (Salesforce), admissions (Slate) and other data systems to support the directors, faculty and student success in an online learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing marketing strategies for prospective students for each program in collaboration with leadership team.

  • Manage Salesforce CRM and Slate database to ensure recruitment initiatives are being met.

  • Create, maintain, and manage workflows, communications, and processes within Slate to ensure a smooth admissions process for applicants.

  • At the request of leadership, create scholarship announcements, communication plans and application processes.

  • Advise admitted students enrolled in the Palliative Care Education Programs.

  • Maintain and report accurate admission and enrollment data and provide tuition revenue projections to support leadership in effective decision-making and strategic planning for the annual budget and staffing.

  • Monitor administrative staff performance and provide constructive feedback on their daily duties.

Work Location:

Remote - This role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States. The employee may need to occasionally attend in-person meetings, as needed, at their own expense.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • Four (4) years of professional experience supporting post-secondary education programs.

    • An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • Experience with student advising/admissions.

  • Experience in management supervising employees/administrative staff.

  • Experience using Canvas.

  • Experience using the University of Colorado procurement and financial systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Expert data entry skills with ability to input information accurately; prepare and maintain detailed records, files, and reports on an ongoing basis.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

  • Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to create and implement systems of organization and efficiency.

  • Ability to coordinate technical presentations including hardware set up.

  • Strong knowledge of database management with the ability to query reports, utilize data, and convert programs.

  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail including knowledge of money handling and mathematics.

  • Strong knowledge of general office procedures, protocol and professionalism; basic knowledge of Business English, spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $63,554 - $80,840.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
