QA/QC Assistant Project Manager

Location: Muskogee, OK (Travel Role) or based out of Broken Arrow, OK Office

As a QA/QC Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with our field crews and project leadership to keep projects on track, maintain quality standards, and ensure we deliver excellent work to our clients while taking on some of the toughest challenges in the industry.

Responsibilities



  • Assist the Project Manager and jobsite leadership with project management and leadership responsibilities
  • Support project quality initiatives through QA/QC processes and documentation
  • Run project control systems for the benefit of the project team
  • Assist with CPM schedule creation, updates, and communication
  • Coordinate Last Planner / whiteboard crew scheduling
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project communications
  • Act as a project analyst by reviewing project controls and assisting leadership in problem-solving and alternative solutions
  • Provide estimating take-offs and assist with analysis and change orders
  • Attend onsite client meetings and collaborate with trade contractors
  • Prepare information for and participate in monthly project reviews
  • Assist with procurement and expediting of materials and subcontractors
  • Promote Interstates' safety culture daily


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Ability to track and organize project tasks while prioritizing work effectively
  • Willingness to continuously adjust project systems to help plan and deliver successful projects
  • Strong team-building and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Comfortable communicating with clients, peers, and leadership


Education

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in one of the following (or similar):



  • Construction Engineering
  • Business Administration
  • Engineering Technology
  • Construction Management


Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000.

Salary ranges are determined by experience, education, and level of responsibility. The range posted reflects what Interstates believes in good faith it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Final compensation will be based on job-related skills, training, education, and experience.

Travel

This role requires up to 100% travel to customer sites. The primary assignment for this role is expected to support a long-term project in Muskogee, OK for approximately two years, though future projects may require travel to other locations.
