Description
Indirect Commodity Manager Barnes Aerospace is a premier provider for the full life-cycle supply and repair of complex aeroengine components from fan to exhaust. The Barnes global facility footprint offers responsive component repair and overhaul (CRO) services for both commercial and defense aeroengine platforms, providing high-value solutions to major OEMs, MROs, and airlines. In addition, Barnes Aerospace manufactures critical engine components with leading precision machining, fabrication, and assembly capabilities, earning its reputation as a trusted supply chain partner to major OEMs. Reporting to the VP of Global Supply Chain Management, the Indirect Commodity Manager is responsible for the endtoend management of indirect procurement, sourcing, and supplier performance across goods and services supporting manufacturing operations. This role leads strategic sourcing initiatives, cost reduction programs, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management while partnering with crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This position serves as the primary procurement partner for Engineering and other internal teams during supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
