This role will involve not only analyzing data but also understanding how data can inform and drive business decisions. You will gain valuable experience on both the business side - learning key metrics, objectives, & strategic priorities - and the data side, where you will develop the skills to gather, interpret, analyze, manipulate, and model data to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting, manipulating, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decisions, ensuring alignment between business needs and data-driven insights.
  • Help develop reports and dashboards to monitor key business metrics, translating data findings into meaningful business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with both business and data teams to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that can inform strategic decision-making and drive process improvement.
  • Support the creation of ad-hoc reports and presentations for leadership, helping bridge the gap between technical data and business strategy.
  • Learn and utilize new data tools and applications, while also gaining a strong understanding of how these tools support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, charts) & a knack for data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to see the bigger business picture.
  • Eagerness to learn how to balance and sync both the business and data perspectives to drive decision-making.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present complex data and information clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Excitement to learn and apply new project management tools and methods.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is curious about both business and data, eager to develop a hybrid skill set, and passionate about using data to drive business strategy.
