UMass Memorial Health, the largest healthcare system in Central Massachusetts and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, invites applications for a board-certified or board-eligible Infectious Disease physician to serve as Associate Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control within UMass Memorial Medical Center. This is a distinguished opportunity for a physician leader to contribute to a high-performing academic health system, integrating clinical excellence, quality leadership, and academic engagement. About the Role: The Associate Medical Director will provide leadership within the Infection Prevention and Control program while maintaining active clinical practice in Infectious Diseases. This individual will work closely with institutional leadership and infection prevention specialists to advance strategic initiatives focused on patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the physician will serve as an attending on inpatient and outpatient Infectious Disease services, with the opportunity to practice in general Infectious Diseases and/or Transplant Infectious Diseases.
