In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging Vizient's data breadth, data scale and unique relationships with providers and suppliers to transform healthcare delivery in our country. Our team's mission is to empower and elevate Vizient's employees through the use of Generative AI.

Role Responsibilities:

Individual:
* Manage the resources of the AI Strategy team.
* Oversee the dedicated Generative AI development team(s)
* In collaboration with the other AI Strategy Team members, develop a high-level vision for how Vizient can create value by applying generative AI across its business.
* Provide oversight, guidance, and subject matter expertise as needed for critical high-value AI optimization initiatives throughout their lifecycle weighing ethical considerations and assessing AI risks.
* Identify high impact automation opportunities using persona-based frameworks.
* Co-create next generation, AI-enabled workflows with stakeholders.
* Identify needs for new skills, data requirements, and changes to processes.
* Monitor the AI landscape and emerging technologies.
* Develop success metrics and KPIs for AI adoption, usage, and performance. Track progress, demonstrate ROI, and continuously improve integration processes.

Shared:
* Lead cross-functional working groups to create AI readiness plans for different business units and scale knowledge across the organization.
* Partner with business unit leaders to develop frameworks, processes, and best practices for identifying, evaluating, and integrating AI technologies into products, services, and internal operations.

Role Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in technology delivery, with significant leadership in large-scale transformation programs
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise AI, data, and cloud platform initiatives at scale
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high-risk programs and turning around underperforming initiatives
  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams (100+ resources, multi-region delivery models)
  • Experience managing large technology portfolios ($100M+) with measurable business impact
  • Track record of driving cost optimization, performance improvements, and delivery acceleration
  • Strong background in data platforms, AI/ML ecosystems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in AI infrastructure or AI data center environments

  • Background in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, etc.)

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, real-time analytics architectures)

    - Certifications or advanced education in AI, data science, or cloud architecture

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $348,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
