ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills.

ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside is in Glasgow, Delaware. ChristianaCare Primary Care at Springside provides comprehensive primary medical care services for both adults and children. The practice offers various healthcare services, including gynecology and women's health, immunizations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. Additionally, on-site lab services are available to facilitate patient care and enhance diagnostic efficiency.

As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:30am - 7pm
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am - 5pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• No weekends or holidays

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
