Date: Apr 8, 2026 Location: Company: The Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology Group develops innovative technology for U.S. undersea and counter-undersea systems. Our focus areas include acoustic and non-acoustic sensing, advanced signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous systems, and systems analysis. Our technology is hosted on manned and unmanned undersea, surface, and air vehicles as well as fixed sensors. Our technical staff members hold advanced degrees in electrical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, ocean engineering, and computer science. The group engages in all phases of technology development from performance assessment to prototyping and testing for a variety of Department of Defense users, sponsors, and industry. In addition, our group provides our collaboration partners with undersea domain and technology expertise to inform and motivate concept development in areas such as energy systems, communications, and sensing. As part of MIT, our group collaborates closely with academic partners and publishes research in top-tier venues. Job Description
