Responsibilities
New opportunity for a dynamic and strategic Senior Director, Finance Transformation Programs to lead a portfolio of enterprise finance programs that strengthen financial performance, governance, compliance, and decision support across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving continued transformation throughout the organization to achieve our strategy and goals. The Senior Director, Finance Transformation Programs will coordinate transformation programs and projects and align with stakeholders across finance and Bruker's business group divisions and segments. This finance leadership role requires rigorous project discipline, strong business acumen, and strong understanding of financial activities and technologies.
Drive the Finance Strategy and Transformation program in coordination with the Senior Vice President of Finance and the CFO leadership team, translating strategy into seamless execution.
- Lead enterprise-wide project coordination for large cross-business or cross-department projects, ensuring project deliverables are met on time.
- Lead delivery of enterprise finance transformation programs (e.g., planning/forecasting modernization, close acceleration, and inventory management) from roadmap through implementation and stabilization.
- Provide strategic finance insights, guidance, and decision support for major initiatives by developing business cases, scenario models, and performance dashboards; challenge assumptions and ensure clear financial narratives.
- Lead enterprise-wide stakeholder engagement across Finance, business units, and enabling functions: communicate progress, decisions, and impacts with clarity to all levels of the organization.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing project teams and/or extended program networks: clarify roles, coach talent, and ensure appropriate capacity planning across priorities.
- Manage external partners (consultants, systems integrators, and advisory firms) as needed; ensure quality deliverables, knowledge transfer, and value realization.
- Lead governance frameworks for legal entity integration, finance operating model changes, and other critical governance structures.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree required in Finance, Accounting, Life Science, or related field. PMP Certification required. MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive work experience in corporate finance/FP&A, controllership, or finance transformation, including leadership of complex, enterprise-wide, cross-functional transformation programs.
- Advanced MS Office with PowerPoint required plus hands-on work experience with ERP and finance platforms (e.g., SAP/Oracle, planning tools, consolidation, BI/reporting).
- Demonstrated ability to gain commitment and coordinated action in a matrixed organization, working effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Proven success leading multi-workstream enterprise transformation programs across geographies, including vendor/partner management when applicable.
- Deep finance and organizational acumen with a strong understanding of FP&A, management reporting, close/consolidation, and key financial metrics (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) required.
- Expert program management capability (portfolio governance, complex planning, dependency management, executive reporting) with a proven successful track record of delivering measurable outcomes required.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and business-case skills; able to translate ambiguity into structured options, quantified trade-offs, and clear recommendations.
- Proven process improvement and controls mindset (standardization, documentation, risk management, compliance/ audit readiness).
- Strong finance systems and data fluency (ERP, planning tools, BI/reporting) with proven ability to partner effectively with IT and analytics teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders in a matrix environment with core abilities in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and driving decisions.
- Excellent verbal, written, quantitative communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to produce concise, executive-ready materials, facilitate and present to senior leadership forums and audiences.

- Ability to satisfactorily complete position compliance and training requirements.

- Ability to maintain valid passport with flexibility for domestic, overnight, and international travel
- Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state or governing location
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation
