We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Provide consistent and timely support to the company, vendors, and customers as it relates to all warehouse duties and supports the production floor. An ideal candidate is someone with solid warehouse work experience, effective communication skills, good attendance, and a desire to grow their career with us!

Responsibilities:



  • Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.


  • Processes all inbound & outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, and delivering material.


  • Verifies packing slips from supplier with MCC purchase order; checks for correct quantity, information, and hidden damage.


  • Unloads receivables from trucks to storage area.


  • Maintain an accurate inventory of material. Ensures materials are properly located and maintained.


  • Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork.


  • Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.


  • Operates forklift.


  • Obtains material from stock. Distributes received items to appropriate department.


  • Takes materials to presses as needed for job orders. Obtains unused material from presses.


  • Reviews job ticket for shipping requirements and special instructions.


  • Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order.


  • Documents the amount shipped and calculates total amount packaged.


  • Participate in scheduling of daily transportation.


  • Perform inventory of all stored materials and finished products.


  • Communicate with transportation companies as appropriate.


  • Interacts with Accounts Payable and Purchasing on questionable invoices.


  • Advises all essential personnel of returned goods.


  • Communicates with appropriate Associates to verify information on job tickets prior to packaging/shipping job orders.


  • Provides information to Supervisor regarding non-conformance or incorrect job tickets.


  • Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High school education or equivalent


  • Warehouse experience strongly desired


  • Strong attention to detail


  • Forklift experience required


  • Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team player


  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and carry up to 20 feet (frequently); ability to lift to 75 lbs. And carry up to 10 feet (occasionally)


  • Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)


  • Ability to differentiate colors (able to pass a color test)


  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions with determination to meet deadlines


  • Experience with and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Applications


  • Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work


  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12-hour shifts)


  • Possess skills to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
