Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Specialist to make a significant impact on the financial operations of a dynamic team dedicated to launching and managing groundbreaking original video content. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring financial precision and operational excellence, directly contributing to the success of high-profile projects and global communications efforts. Your expertise will directly influence the efficient allocation of resources and the strategic financial planning that underpins the creation of world-class entertainment.

What you will do:



  • Provide strategic operational support for the financial management of budgeting, reporting, forecasting, purchase orders, and daily invoices across global Publicity, Studio Communications, Talent Relations, Awards, and Events.
  • Manage timely reporting and analyze actuals versus budget cost reports to ensure accuracy and quickly resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Finance, Travel, Business Affairs, and Legal, in the creation and vetting of budgets, strategically resolving issues to ensure an efficient process.
  • Assist in the contract review and cost analysis process in conjunction with Finance and Procurement.
  • Manage the setup of vendors and external partners in collaboration with Procurement.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in strategic billing and purchase order development and execution within the entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of tracking budgets and financial planning.
  • Ability to determine resources, track costs, and establish partnerships across original content production and distribution teams.
  • Proactive thinker who can prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
