Position Summary/ Department Summary:
This role integrates project management and clinical research support within the Department of Pathology, providing coordination across clinical, operational, and research initiatives. The individual will lead and support projects from conception through implementation, including planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with departmental goals and institutional priorities. In parallel, the role supports clinical and translational research activities by assisting with case identification, data management, research workflows, and coordination of multidisciplinary collaborations. Responsibilities include developing tracking systems, facilitating communication among stakeholders, preparing materials for research and clinical initiatives, and ensuring timely execution of projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working across teams to drive both operational efficiency and research productivity in a dynamic academic medical environment. Key Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred. Experience: 4 years progressive experience in healthcare management, project management, consulting or a closely related field, Master's degree in lieu of two years of work experience is required. 1 year experience managing multiple highly complex projects is preferred. The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
