As primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, we provide investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors and individuals. About the Role The Digital team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management is seeking an Associate for Global Digital Strategy. This individual will help drive the strategic evolution and governance of the firm's global digital footprint. The team is responsible for building scalable, world-class web capabilities that will help achieve our commercial objectives, partnering closely with Digital Product and Engineering teams on the technical execution. The successful candidate will possess 3-7 years of experience in digital marketing, digital product management, or engineering, with an ability to navigate the complexities of a regulated global financial institution. Key Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy & Capability Building: Partner with Product and Engineering to define the roadmap for global website enhancements. Share business requirements and support the lifecycle of new capability builds from ideation to deployment.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Technology teams to synchronize launches and ensure a unified user experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Performance Analytics & Optimization: Define and track KPIs related to platform health, user engagement, and conversion. Utilize data-driven insights to recommend architectural or functional improvements.
- Global Governance & Compliance: Establish and oversee a robust governance framework for global websites, ensuring all digital experiences meet stringent legal, regulatory, and brand standards.
- Risk & Operational Excellence: Proactively identify technical or content-related risks. Implement automated workflows and process improvements to increase the efficiency of content delivery and platform stability.
- Agile Execution: Act as a key stakeholder in engineering sprints, ensuring that development efforts align with the broader digital strategy. Prioritize backlogs and manage trade-offs between maintenance and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 3-7years of progressive experience in digital marketing, product management, or digital engineering, ideally within financial services.
- Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of managing complex digital platforms that drive commercial outcomes and enhance client experience.
- Project Leadership: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex projects.
- Technical Literacy: Understanding of the development life cycle, CMS architecture, and API integrations.
Salary Range The expected base salary for this Chicago, Illinois, United States-based position is $80000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
