The
Research Associate IIIwill play a key role in advancing research on the impacts of offshore wind energy development on the oceanographic environment of the Northeast U.S. shelf. This position is part of the Physical Oceanography / Offshore Wind Research Program, reporting to the Principal Investigators (PIs).
The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to conduct numerical investigations, quantify the effects of offshore wind turbines on ocean systems, and assess their spatial extent, magnitude, and ecological implications. The role will focus on analyzing how offshore wind farms influence ocean currents, mixing processes, and regional nutrient and productivity dynamics.

Additional Job Requirements Salary Range: $79,565- $103,133
The salary range provided for this position reflects the expected minimum and maximum base pay for new hires.
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market conditions. In addition to base salary, eligible employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package.
