Environmental Professional Requisition Number: 2026-1810-06 S&ME's Environmental Services team in Chattanooga, Tennessee are seeking motivated and passionate entry-level to experienced Environmental Professionals ready to take on meaningful work and grow professionally. As an Environmental Professional, you will support environmental investigation, compliance remediation, and brownfield redevelopment projects as well as commercial property due diligence efforts through Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). This role requires the application of environmental regulations through a combination of education and professional experience. Staying current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices is essential to producing high-quality, clear, and defensible deliverables that meet both client and regulatory requirements. Your Day-to-Day: This position combines fieldwork, anticipated to range between 30-75% of your time, technical analysis and report writing, and project coordination across environmental site investigations, brownfield redevelopment, commercial due diligence, hazardous building materials, and broader environmental evaluations.
