Title: Football Operations & Recruiting Coordinator

Position Summary:

Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Football Operations & Recruiting Coordinator position. This position will assist with the day-to-day operation of the football program and assist in recruiting efforts. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Essential Functions:

* Manage and coordinate expense reports for scouting, recruiting, player development, strategy, video, nutrition, and strength staff.

* Provide direction and prioritization standards for the screening of the department's mail, email, and appointments using expert judgment and knowledge

* Serve as main point of contact with players onboarding through PaymentWorks and troubleshoot any issues that arise

* Assist with all official visit events including but not limited to advancing meals, photoshoots, and social events

* Serve as the registration coordinator for youth summer camps

* Assist the football recruitment department, football strategy department and football operations department during peak times

* Monitor and order office supplies for football program

* Process all football related invoices for payment

* Liaison to the Duke Athletics Business Office

* Oversight of travel policies

* Educate coaches and staff on changing policies and best practices to ensure timely reimbursements

* Serve as the staff family liaison and lead the setup of post-game family events

* Additional duties as needed to drive the success of the Duke Football Program

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

* Excellent written and oral skills

* Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at once

* Proficiency in many computer system such as but not limited to all Microsoft systems and Adobe.

* Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively

* Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail

* Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks

* Must possess a valid drivers license

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 1-3 years of related administrative experience

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $48,960.00 to USD $77,928.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
