Now Hiring Electrical Technician (Project-Based - Automation Equipment)

Location Winter Garden, FL

Pay $30 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support project-based work on automated equipment and systems. This hands-on role focuses on panel wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and equipment startup within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform panel wiring for automated machinery and control systems
• Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and PLC control issues
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
• Support commissioning and startup of equipment, including input/output (I/O) checkout
• Wire packaging machinery, conveyor systems, and power distribution panels
• Assist with integration of motors, sensors, and automated components
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications:

• Experience working with automated equipment, motion sensors, motors, and control systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
• Experience with conveyor systems, material handling, or ride systems is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with mechanical tasks as needed
