Job Description:
Responsibilities:
*Lead application focused research efforts that provide direct technical support to R&D projects in paints and coatings, construction materials, water, and the energy industries, fostering innovation.
*Contribute to the development of novel formulations using new and existing active ingredients and next-generation delivery technologies.
*Utilize analytical chemistry techniques, including HPLC, to characterize the performance criteria of new formulations.
*Collaborate with lead scientists, other research associates, and broader interdisciplinary teams, including regulatory, marketing, and product development, to support and drive projects from concept to commercialization.
*Effectively manage time across multiple projects and competing demands, demonstrating a proactive approach to execution.
*Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment while assuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:
*Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
*A minimum of 3 years of industrial laboratory experience in a research, product development, or technical application setting.
*Prior experience with analytical techniques (HPLC) and industrial product formulation a plus.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
*Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
*Experience working in a team-oriented research setting to drive projects toward completion preferred.
