What to Expect
The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for successfully executing all culinary operations which include; front and back of the house operations, logistics, vendor management, project management and staff recruitment, management and development. In addition, this position will be accountable budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, for all non-production capital expenditures for the culinary department. Strives to continually improve internal customer satisfaction and ensure that standards and procedures are being followed.

What You'll Do
  • Develop operational systems, processes and policies to support better management reporting, information flow and coordination between business units
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships, which includes sourcing, liaising and providing internal vendor support
  • Monitors and analyzes current system of production and works out strategy for improving if necessary
  • Interact with managers of different departments and organizations an liaises with other team members to accomplish culinary department projects and events
  • Trains, supervises and leads new Tesla and contracted staff, tracking and measuring performance to ensure effective operations within the culinary department
  • Works with multi-dimensional teams including internal and external stakeholders to complete projects
  • Manages quality assurance programs to ensure culinary department is up to code, internal and external standards

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of high volume food & beverage experience in related field or Degree from an accredited University in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, or equivalent in experience
  • Reliable transportion required for visits to other facilities and perform other duties as assigned/needed
  • Ability to perform accounting and finance math including calculations of fractions, percentages and/or ratios. Experience with forecasting and budgeting preferred
  • Solid experience working with Microsoft Windows and Office which includes word outlook, processing, spreadsheets and database programs. Must have the ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Food Manager Certification
  • Must be customer service oriented, accurate, self-motivated, and be able to use time efficiently. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to direct and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers

    Expected Compensation
    $92,000 - $138,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
