Experience Strategy & Delivery Contractor

This is a 12-18 month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA.


Summary

This role supports the Digital Experience team responsible for shaping and improving online shopping experiences for a global consumer audience. The position focuses on understanding customer needs through research, insights, and data analysis, and translating those insights into strategic recommendations that enhance digital commerce experiences. The contractor will collaborate cross-functionally to help plan, launch, and evaluate initiatives that improve how customers discover, learn about, and purchase products and accessories online.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital experience strategy, product strategy, or a related field
  • Passion for digital commerce and customer experience with a strong foundation in research, strategy, and analytics
  • Proficient in Excel, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Analytics, and presentation tools such as Keynote or PowerPoint, with strong data analysis and storytelling skills
  • Familiar with customer journey mapping, shopper behavior analysis, and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, merchandising, creative, and engineering
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker with strong project management skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to influence teams without direct authority

Job Description

In this role, you will support strategic initiatives designed to enhance digital shopping experiences and better understand customer behavior across online commerce platforms.

You'll partner with product, marketing, merchandising, creative, engineering, and leadership teams to identify opportunities and deliver insights that drive improved customer engagement and business outcomes. This includes planning and executing research initiatives, analyzing customer behavior and performance metrics, and synthesizing findings into clear strategic recommendations.

You will also audit and evaluate digital content, customer journeys, and experience frameworks, supporting ongoing reporting and analysis to measure performance, identify trends, and inform future improvements. Additionally, you will contribute to launch execution and post-launch performance monitoring to ensure experience enhancements deliver measurable results and customer satisfaction.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human-Centered Design, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in digital strategy, e-commerce, product strategy, customer experience, or analytics
  • Experience conducting customer research and translating insights into actionable recommendations

Additional Requirements

  • This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA and requires hybrid work during standard business hours (approximately 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST).
  • The pay for this W-2 position is$94.04 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
