Venable LLP's Technology & Innovation Group's Venable Blue team seeks an Analyst, Trust & Safety and Public Affairs to join the Los Angeles office. This is a non-attorney position. The Analyst, Trust & Safety and Public Affairs will be responsible for content moderation and abuse reporting, supporting public affairs and public relations efforts, identifying product risks, and policy development and analysis. The Analyst will serve as an important line of defense to help improve the quality and safety of online content, research and define product risks, and accordingly develop appropriate safety policies, guidelines, and strategies. To do so, the Analyst will partner with cross-functional client stakeholders across product, engineering, research, and legal teams to innovate and define Trust & Safety approaches based on leading industry practices and latest market trends. The work of the Analyst will be fast-paced, dynamic, proactive, and impactful. The person in this role will deliver value to our clients, while making a larger impact on society. Additional information can be found at Venable.com. The anticipated base salary for the Analyst Trust & Safety and Public Affairs is $85,000 - $120,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and overtime, if eligible. Overtime wages earned will be paid in compliance with applicable law.
