Role : Solutions Advisor ( Presales)

Location : Dallas, TX or REMOTE

Overview:

  • We are looking for someone who has a strong technical foundation with the ability to be hands-on with the broader Mobility and Automation team as part of developing and deploying solutions to our customers using knowledge of industry best practices and the ability to implement and integrate them using our platform.

  • Core responsibilities to include Architecting and designing (along with other distinguished architects) mobility and automation solutions that connect into our Azure SaaS products in Warehouse, Retail, Transportation and Labor solutions.

  • The team currently comprises of 14+ individuals across North America and Europe. This individual will need to have leadership qualities to mentor junior and mid-level technical associates on our team.

Our current technical environment:

  • Software: Java, Python, GIT, Rest API, OAuth

  • Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture.

  • Cloud Architecture: MS Azure, AWS, Private Cloud

  • Operating Systems: Android, Windows, Linux

What you'll do:

  • Develop and maintain a growing knowledge of Blue Yonder software products as it relates to the integration of mobile hardware.

  • Drive architecture and designs to become more efficient, more robust and simpler.

  • Develop and document configuration and testing procedures in areas of expertise.

  • Adopt and foster a team approach. Support the mission and vision of the Mobility and Automation team and Blue Yonder company.

  • Assist at setup and support of Mobile, Voice, Printing, Camera technology and Robotic solutions for customer project use.

  • Setup demonstration or test systems for use by Blue Yonder implementation or sales teams.

  • Enhance and maintain Mobile, Voice and Robotics software with appropriate technologies, including support for multiple vendors and languages.

  • Manage small projects and initiatives to make use of new tools or technologies.

  • Provide early visibility and mitigation to technical challenges through the journey.

  • Confidently represent product and portfolio, including vision, functional and technical roadmaps within the company and to strategic customers.

  • Mentor and Sharing information. Train customers and new department employees. Assist department members in activities and issues.

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years experience in Supply Chain Execution or WMS implementations is REQUIRED

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Good understanding of cloud architecture.

  • Troubleshooting and technical accumen

  • Be accountable and meet deadlines on a consistent basis.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a global team.

  • Ability to work onsite or remotely as needed.

  • Previous work experience in transportation, supply chain, logistics and/or warehouse is a plus

Additional Skills

  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS systems is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with Python, C# and Java is good.

  • SQL experience is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $110K - $130K

    The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
