What you'll do:

SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Analyst supports
the organization's supply chain operations by coordinating the movement of raw
materials, in-process goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production
needs or customer expectations are met.

JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, engineering, and sales teams to align material planning with build schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and recommend optimal stocking strategies for components such as chassis parts, body materials, and custom assemblies
  • Support supplier performance management by tracking delivery timelines, quality metrics, and pricing trends
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to inventory, lead times, and supplier reliability
  • Assist in the development of sourcing strategies for critical materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, specialty components)
  • Identify risks in the supply chain (e.g., shortages, delays) and propose mitigation plans
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics, warehousing, and production flow
  • Ensure data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems and support system enhancements
What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics (automotive or heavy equipment industry preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); experience with ERP/MRP systems required
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments, especially build-to-order or custom fabrication
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
