Our Clarke Fire team is looking for a Co-Op Student to join our Marketing team for the Summer Semester!

This co-operative education work role will primarily be responsible for assisting in the creative development of Clarke's digital multi-media assets, including printed collateral, website copy, product release animations/videos, and social media graphics. This student may also assist with the development of marketing, SEO, and the contact database. Apply today to be considered to work alongside our talented Marketing group!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the marketing team in developing Clarke assets. Working within an entrepreneurial team environment, you will work on assets that support every communication channel, including Clarke's website, intranet, social media channels, and physical branding pieces. This includes:

* Content Creation: Drafting social media posts (Instagram, LinkedIn), blog articles, newsletters, and website collateral. Assisting in the development of videos and animations.

* Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conducting keyword research, adding schema markup, and optimizing on-page elements.

* Data & Analytics: Tracking campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Sitefinity Insights.

* Campaign Support: Assisting in the development of a contact database to support email marketing and lead generation campaigns.

* Market Research: Conducting competitor analysis and identifying digital trends to inform strategy.

* Assist team members with day-to-day marketing tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with website development application software such as WordPress or Sitefinity.
• Experience with Adobe's Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Graphic design, animation or video development, and/or website programming experience would be helpful.
• This person should show excellent attention to detail, be well organized, and self-motivated. Excellent command of the written English language. A second language is a plus.
• Some experience with an email newsletter platform (Constant Contact, MailChimp) as well as management of a global contact database is preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

This position would be ideal for a student in their 2nd or 3Rd year of school. Majors might include Communications, Communication Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or Business. Other majors are welcome to apply.

WORK EXPECTATION

This is a full-time in-person position with some flexibility for remote workdays.
